CBSE Class 12 Result 2025 – Examination Details

  • Total Students Appeared: Approximately 17.88 lakh
  • Number of Subjects: 120
  • Exam Centers: 7,842 nationwide and 26 countries worldwide
  • Passing Criteria: Minimum 33% marks in each subject (theory and practical separately) and overall

Note: Students must secure at least 33% marks in each subject (including theory and practical components) and overall to pass the examination. Grace marks may be awarded to students who fall short by 1–2 marks, at the board’s discretion.

The pass percentage, regional performance, and gender-wise data will be announced along with the results. Last year, the overall pass percentage for Class 12 was 87.98%, with girls outperforming boys (91.52% vs. 85.12%).   • DigiLocker: Access digital mark sheets at digilocker.gov.in using your roll number, school code, and a 6-digit PIN provided by your school.
  • UMANG App: Download the UMANG app from Google Play Store or App Store to check results.
  • IVRS: Call 24300699 (with area code) at 30 paise per minute to hear your results.

Note: The online result is provisional. Students should collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools after the announcement.

CBSE Class 12 Result – Supplementary Exam for Failed Candidates

  • Students who fail in one or two subjects can apply for supplementary exams, expected to be held from July 15–22, 2025.
  • The application process for supplementary exams will be available on cbse.gov.in.
  • Supplementary results are expected to be announced in August 2025.

Note: Students failing in more than two subjects will need to repeat the year.
