Indian National Congress party leader Mukul sangma took charge as the Chief Minister of Meghalaya on 5 March 2013 along with other ministers. The Government of Meghalaya consists of 12 cabinet ministers.. The Cabinet of the state of Meghalaya forms the executive branch of the Government of Meghalaya. The Meghalaya Vidhan Sabha (Meghalaya Legislative Assembly) consists of 60 members (MLA), and these members are elected for five years. Indian National Congress (INC) party formed the Government under the leadership of Mukul sangma on 5 March 2013.
